Stages of the Stage
Local builders / Center Dads, began the project of building the stage back in July of 2008. The first stage of the stage was the base. For the first school year the children used what looked most like a deck to perform their stories and to present their first Dinner Theater Production: Where the Wild Things Are. The next stage was adding the rafters for the roof to help create the feel of an outdoor learning room. The results were breath-taking and the space is used daily for all sorts of purposes. The next stage will involve securing the tin to the rafters to provide the shade and to help protect the stage from the elements.
We estimate about $300 more to complete this amazing project.
