Trailfest 2014 will be calling everyone back to Hot Springs> GET OUTSIDE!! GO TRAILFEST!!
As many of you know, Hot Springs has the honor of having the famous Appalachian Trail go right through the main street in town, the only real 'trail town' in North Carolina. We do so like to celebrate that fact as often as possible, and this year we are breaking out into the great wide open once again! We are calling EVEYONE to GET OUTSIDE, dust off those wheels, move those muscles and bones and lets celebrate Bicycles, Skateboarding, Hula-Hooping, River Rafting, Roller Skating, Soccer, Yoga, Walking, Swimming, making music on the porch, outdoor crafting, of course Hiking, and more!
This a FREE family event with lots of community involvement all weekend long. We'll kick-off on Friday, April 11th with a delicious (cheap) Spaghetti Dinner, play all day Saturday, April 12th (see agenda), and have pancakes, a float trip, and a big fat soccer game on Sunday, April 13th.
Come to Hot Springs and GET OUTSIDE with us!
Hosted by Hot Springs Community Learning Center, a non profit organization serving children ages 3 - 12 years old with Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, After School Program, out-of-school care, and holiday and Summer Camps. All proceeds rasied through this event go toward helping families in need participate in the above services. THANK YOU for your support!!
