This is a fantastic, five star program for your elementary school aged child! Our Staff is certified in Basic School Age Care and beyond. After a busy school day, our staff is there to help them make the transition to the next part of their day. Our program provides a healthy snack, help with homework, and FUN activities to do together. There are many wonderful choices available from which your child can participate in a great variety of hand-on learning experiences that compliment a child's learning world. Ages Up to 25 Spots for ages 5 - 12 year olds
Options and Rates Full and Part Time
Full Time: Five Days per week $340 per month Part Time Option #1: Three Days per week $227 per month
Part Time Option #2: By the day $18 per day billed at the end of the month.
Emergency Days : $20 per day Billed at the end of the month
The After School area of the Hot Springs Community Learning Center is a warm and inspiring environment for our school age children. Children and staff make use of the different areas for yard play, theater productions, crafting and project making, indoor and outdoor sports such as ping pong, pool, and air hockey as well as outside for soccer, tag games, jump rope and houla hoops!
All our staff is experienced, educated, energetic, and ready to receive your child after their school day. We provide a healthy snack, help with their homework, and plenty of space and choices for ways to spend their time at HSCLC.
Who goes there? This program is open to public and home school students between the ages of 5 and 12. This is an excellent way for the children to get to know their community personally.
Our base room for this program is located at Hot Springs Elementary School,; ASP staff will escort the children directly after their school day to the program room.

Theater Productions
Throughout the year the children who are interested, explore a variety of visual performing arts such as singing, playing instruments, and movement. In our Summer Camp we create and perform several theatrical productions for all the community to enjoy.
Soccer Teams, Chess Club .... Coming Soon!
Madison County has an amazing soccer program, as well as an established chess club. Instead of having to travel all the way out to Mars Hill, how about our own Hot Springs Teams and club? Our staff and Jr. Counselors could teach the fundamentals of the games and prepare as many teams as possible for soccer to compete in the ABYSA League in Asheville in the Fall and Spring. We will try to spark some interest through our After School Program ................ stand by for more information, or call our office to inquire.
