Hot Springs Community Learning Center offers quality summer time care programs for three age groups, two locations:

Learn photography tricks and how to create a special scrapbook
June 18 - 22 Photography Camp with Ms. Josie

Explore music from other cultures

Learn all about the baby animals and visit a local farm

Clinics! for the 5 - 12 year olds:
Each week campers will choose one of two Clinics signified on the sign up order form with the following options:


fishing, soccer, bookmaking, yoga, paper-making, chess, singing, hip-hop dance,
gardening, cooking, hiking, and messy art


Daily Happenings ...
We follow a daily routine including: open activity centers, snacks, group time projects, crafting, outdoor play, walking and/or driving field trips, picnic lunches, clinics (for the big kids), a small rest period, and music & movement games.  We invite Community Visitors to come and teach art, music, and movement techniques at least once per week.   Plus, Tuesdays and Fridays are WATER DAYS!! Our camps are so much fun!!!   Expect lots of beautiful art work to decorate your home and plenty of new tunes and dance moves coming from your child!

Enrollment Information

  • There is a maximum of: 18 spots for 3 - 5   years old and 25 spots for 5-12 years old

  • Full Time requests are filled first.  Part Time requests are filled next, and can be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays only.  Please print out a Summer Program Info Pack (Click Here ) and turn it in to the office as soon as possible for first priority.

Rate Schedule

Full Days: 9am - 3 pm

FIVE Days = $135  per week
THREE Days = $99  per week
TWO Days = $67  per week


HALF Days:  9am - 12 pm (includes our lunch time)

FIVE Days = $70  per week
THREE Days = $50  per week
TWO Days = $35  per week


5 - 7 years old  &  8 - 12 years old
*those who have been to Kindergarten

Location: Hot Springs Elementary School

Rate Schedule
 Full Days: 9am - 3 pm

FIVE Days = $125  per week
THREE Days = $89  per week
TWO Days = $57  per week


HALF Days:  9am - 12 pm  (does not include Clinics) or 12pm - 3pm (includes Clincs)

FIVE Days = $65  per week
THREE Days = $45  per week
TWO Days = $30  per week


Rates Include:
All the art supplies, breakfast and afternoon snacks, and a healthy, abundant, homemade lunch on Thursdays.  Campers will bring their lunch on all other days.

Financial Assistance

  • Madison County DSS offers Summer Time Care subsidy for working parents in a low income braket.  Call and see if you qualify.  *See number below
  • If you still need assistance with tuition, you may be able to participate int he 'Task Credit' Program at HSCLC.  This is where parents and other family members can commit to doing tasks such as cleaning the rooms, mowing the lawn, taking the trash, etc.  in exchange for credit towards your tuition bill.   Call (828) 622-9575 for more details.  Ask for Debbie or Lenore
